Interactive Sorting
Interactive sorting is a
Crystal Reports feature that,
when enabled by the report designer, allows you to sort data in a report as you
view it. Because interactive sorting does not require any new data from the
database, you can use it even if you do not have access to the database where
the report originates.
You can tell that a report has interactive sorting
enabled if you can see the interactive sorting controls for the fields by which
you can sort:
You can sort data alphabetically (if the data is in
the form of a text string, such as the name of a country) or numerically, in
either ascending or descending order.
