Basic calculations
Basic calculations are simple
arithmetic calculations involving two members; for example, the sum of two
column members. Basic calculations do not take any additional parameters. If
you want to create more complex calculations, see
“Custom calculations” in the
BusinessObjects Voyager User's
Guide.
The basic calculations are available from the drop-down list on the Calculation
button.
Calculation

Add
| Adds the values
in the selected rows or columns.
|
Subtract
| Subtracts the
values in the selected rows or columns. The cell values from the second
selected row or column are subtracted from the values in the first selected row
or column.

Multiply
| Multiplies the
values in the selected rows or columns.
|
Divide
| Divides the values in the selected
rows or columns.
The cell values from the first
selected member row or column are divided by the values in the second selected
row or column.

Percentage
| Divides the values in the selected
rows or columns, and expresses the resulting values as percentages.
The cell values from the first
selected member row or column are divided by the values in the second selected
row or column, and multiplied by 100.
